We love the way it's compact when folded down, and how it fits easily through small spaces like shops narrow alleyways and Jane's tiny terrace It's also easy to move up and down the stairs. The bumper bar also doubles as an handle. There's also a huge brake that's flip-flop friendly and has a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than some other models but it's still big enough to accommodate an adequate-sized changing bag, and there are additional traytrays for snacks, drinks and toys.
It's suitable from birth and can be paired with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). For older children there's a clever backrest that nearly flattens to make it perfect for extended nap times or walks. The smart 5-point harness that is magnetic is easy to use. It is also super lightweight, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie has a mission to "share happiness with parents who are expecting" by designing pushchairs that are "functional and stylish, as well as innovative". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is the brand's latest product. It's designed to carry two children side-by-side, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has seats that are raised so both kids can see the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for kids on the market. It is suitable for use starting at birth, and can be used in conjunction with a Joie car seats or carrycots. It's easy to fold, lift, drive and ride. The frame's clever design expands to accommodate the second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding is an absolute highlight. They were awed by how quickly and effortlessly the Evalite Duo comes together. They did notice that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps than other models.
The front seat doesn't fully recline, so parents needed to use their hands to lower it. This is something they would prefer to avoid when traveling with children. It also comes with a large basket and five reclining positions for maximum comfort for your children. It also comes with an integrated carry strap and a single-handed folding mechanism. The only drawback is that it could be somewhat heavy to store when not in use in particular since it folds into two pieces rather than one.
iCandy Orange
This is the best twin buggy on the market. The seats are well-padded and come with liners or luxury footmuffs which will keep your kids warm in cold weather. The carrycot is easy to attach using the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is spacious and comfortable. The Orange is a great option for parents who are fashion-conscious and have a toddler, baby or both. They're looking for a stroller that will expand with their child. It's also a great option for parents who plan to have an additional child in the near future who want a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap however it's a versatile product that it should last for a while and offer a decent resale value as well. It's also available with a buggy board which will reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by an Australian and a member of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first pram company to focus on two all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller is easily maneuvered in narrow aisles for shopping and through doorways. It is among the most compact and full-featured double buggies on the market and has won numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
Its narrow seats are spacious enough for children of various age groups to be able to sit comfortably, and the seats are reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopies come with an adjustable sun visor that can be removed and the storage basket is spacious. The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a elegant, functional design. It's a good product, but it's not without flaws.
For one, it has only a handful of additional conveniences for the children and parents. There's a small bin in the seat, but it's only accessible when the seat is connected - and that's the only thing it has. There are no cup holders, parent trays or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long trips.
The seats don't recline to a flat position, and the gap between them is a bit wide, so our 5-year-old had trouble lying back in a comfortable position. This is a shame since it's a high-end model.
It's easy to maneuver and the swivel-wheel is ideal for climbing stairs and slopes. It's also small enough to fit in most doorways, and it folds easily for storage and transport. It can also be switched back to mono mode in just three clicks if require more space or want to make a quick getaway. The comfort wheeled board can also accommodate the third child should it be required. It's pricey, however for those on a budget there are alternatives out there. It's worth it if you're a fan of the brand and have the money to spend.
